How much will my printing job cost?

Most of our donations are just that... fully donated with no cost. Larger projects will be quoted and delivered at cost with no markup - usually with a portion donated.

Will I receive a receipt?

Yes when we donate or deliver a project at cost, we will e-mail you a receipt and only ask for a donation-in-kind slip in return.

What types of files work best for printing?

A high resolution, 300dpi, flattened PDF, or JPG formatted file is best.

What mode should my file be built in?

Build the file in CMYK mode for best results and eliminate any transparency layers.

How should I prepare my file layouts?

Add only an extra 1/8" of color beyond the trim area for "bleed" on all affected sides. DO NOT add color bars, crop marks, or leave transparency layers unflattened.

Do my pages need to be built in separate files?

Each page should be built to size and be placed on its own file. (Ex: Not a multiple-page PDF). DO NOT combine for example a front and back on one PDF file

How can I send you my printing file?

If the size is small such as 5-15 MB you can e-mail it to us. If it is larger, it's best to send it via a Sharing service such as DropBox or Office 365, or Google Share.

How fast can I get my job printed?

After your finished file is supplied, it usually only takes about 8 - 10 business days to arrive via UPS.

How do I receive my printed job?

We deliver your new printing right to you via UPS.
You will be kept up to date during the process with tracking info if need.
